This film tells the true story of the young and charismatic made member of the Columbo crime family Michael Franzese. Son of legendary Mafia underboss Sonny Franzese, Michael rose quickly to the position of Capo (Captain) in ‘family’ during the 1980‘s-90‘s and achieved the status of the youngest, richest Mafia boss ever lived. Fortune Magazine listed Franzese as number 18 on its list of the “Fifty Most Wealthy and Powerful Mafia Bosses”. According to a Federal report, Franzese made more money for the Columbo crime family than anyone since Chicago outfit boss Al Capone.

The film witnesses Michael’s rise to fame and fortune that eventually led him to doing something no member of the legendary and secretive world of La Cosa Nostra has ever done, a decision to walk away from the mob. An act thought impossible, the film exposes the reasons for his resignation, refusal to inform on his associates and rejection of entering the safety of the witness protection program, even though his decision to leave ‘the life’ and organized crime was in effect suicide.

Still alive today we witness Michaels transformation from a fully fledged Mafia made man to a man of faith and travel on his truly extra ordinary road to redemption.
